Soles with Souls

This summer will see the opening of the long-awaited, much-dreamed-about Kneehigh Asylum: a touring venue, a nomadic space, our brilliant, magical new tent.

Inspired by the summer's headlining show The Red Shoes, we are offering 100 chances for you to get involved and show everyone your support of Kneehigh's work, passion and plans.

We are going to work with 100 special supporters to create a beautiful exhibition of their favourite footwear - from toe-tappers to clodhoppers, from baby's booties to ruby slippers. Kneehigh's photographer will capture you in your best loved shoes and the image - together with your details, like the ones below - will be part of an exhibition designed by Kneehigh artists.

'Soles with Souls': Aimee at Cafe Irie (Newquay) 'Soles with Souls': Emma Rice

You - and your shoes - could be involved for a donation of £100. We've had lots of people who have joined forces with their friends or family - for example, five pairs of shoe-clad feet have been in the photo and each person has paid £20!

All of us at Kneehigh are showing-off our special shoes for this show-stopping exhibition - so if you've got shoes-with-stories or soles-with-souls, this is a fun and memorable way to support the company
